The Challenge

Zero Bounce came to us with a challenge: they needed to rank higher for important commercial keywords to boost conversions and strengthen their branding. They already had a high domain rating (DR) of 70 and were ranking well for brand-related terms.
But the issue was, they weren't ranking for key commercial keywords that could bring in quality traffic, words like "email validator," "email verifier," and "email verification service." These were the terms that mattered most for their business. As a result, their conversions were lower than expected, and they needed a plan to generate more revenue.

The first and biggest focus for Zero Bounce was getting backlinks from other email-related SaaS companies. Since these sites are in the same niche, it’s tough to get them organically. But we knew that getting these backlinks would really help boost the keyword rankings. So, our strategist found a way to negotiate and secure those links. Here’s an example in the screenshot below.

02  Digital PR Campaigns and Getting Link from Top-Tier Websites

Another key strategy we used was digital PR. We successfully secured 272 PR links for Zero Bounce through various tactics. One standout approach was leveraging expert commentary. For example, we got Zero Bounce featured in an article on Inc. titled “Is Your Company Focusing on Generative Engine Optimization?” In this article, Liviu shared his insights on how AI can be used in PR campaigns. He also highlighted how Zero Bounce focused on proprietary research and data-driven reports, which led to valuable citations and high-authority media mentions.

03  AI citation and Roundup Link Building

We aimed to get Zero Bounce featured in authoritative articles that are frequently referenced by large language models (LLMs). This allowed Zero Bounce to rank highly not only on Google but also in AI-driven platforms like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews. A great example of this is the article “11 Best Email Verification Tools in 2026” published on mailtrap.io.
